Posted: 2015-12-02
This year’s edition of the Invest in Poland Conference highlighted the most important advantages for opening a company in Poland but it also underlined a number of changes that would make the country even more attractive for foreign entrepreneurs. Poland already has a good investment climate but in order to maintain its position it must concentrate on other improvements.
Room for improvement
The Conference focused on the current investment climate in Poland and the experts gathered for this event compared Poland’s evolution throughout the years. The country managed to make important progress and it is currently one of the countries in Europe that has a lot to offer to investors.
The country’s economic stability is one of its most important advantages because it is highly operational. However, one of the aspects proposed for improvements were the current bureaucratic procedures. While some experts believe that the country can improve its regulations, other think that the legal system and the political and currency stability are enough to help investors decide to choose Poland.
On the matter of economic cooperation, experts believe that Poland should consider expanding its pool of business partners and, in the near future, consider doing business with emerging Third World economies. At the moment, Poland has signed an important number of double tax treaties which are helpful for foreign investors.
Poland’s strongest points
Poland ranks very well for the quality of the workforce. Polish graduates and professionals have good foreign language skills and are highly trained. This hard-working and educated workforce continues to be one of the strongest assets the country has.
The Invest in Poland Conference takes place yearly and 2015 is the seventh year in which experts come together to highlight the advantages and improvements which can be made for foreign investments in Poland.
