Poland ends the year with low unemployment and good consumer confidence

Less unemployed individuals in Poland
The unemployment rate in Poland in November maintained a percentage of 11.4, according to the data released by the Central Statistical Office. This value is consistent with the predictions made by the Polish Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. The figures for November increased with 0.1 percent, compared to the ones recorded in October.
At the end of November, the total number of unemployed persons in Poland was 1,80 million. According to the Polish Central Statistical Office, the number of newly unemployed persons was approximately 213,000, while the number of people who managed to find a job was 198,400. This indicated a positive trend, also confirmed by the number of new job offers. In November, there were almost 69,100 new job postings from various employers in Poland.
Good consumer confidence
The Central Statistical Office also has good news about the consumer confidence in Poland. Its value managed to grow by 2.4 points, reaching a value of 12.5 points in December last year. According to the same survey performed for consumer confidence, the overall consumer spending increased in the third quarter of 2014, compared to the second quarter of last year.
